Hi, I’m Sheri Hadfield, LMSW
As a licensed clinical social worker, it’s my passion to walk alongside those seeking to heal and experience transformation in their life and relationships.
My experience includes work with individuals and families in a variety of settings. I have Level II certification in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) and have completed Basic Training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
My Approach
My approach is collaborative, relational and down to earth, and I approach time with clients with curiosity, humor and wonder. It’s my hope to create a space that is both genuine and accepting. I see therapy as a chance to have increased awareness of patterns, learn how to cope with life’s challenges, have increased compassion and acceptance of self, and to experience change and growth.
Who I see
I help adults who are overachieving, have perfectionistic, people-pleasing tendencies. I also work well with adults who have anxiety, depression, those who are experiencing burnout and overwhelm, and those experiencing life transitions.
How I practice
I utilize experiential approaches that integrate the mind, body, and spirit. My work is guided by attachment and trauma-informed modalities. Self compassion and embodiment practices are embedded in my practice.
